We believe passionately in connecting people across the African Diaspora, allowing the story of the diaspora to be told through Africa voices.

We aim to create shared experiences for connections, culture, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the African Diaspora through providing curated travel experiences
London Moore had co-founded the Ghana Educational Collaborative ten year earlier in Ghana, West Africa. While founding Diaspora Travels, London Moore was completing her PHD in Curriculum and Instruction with a dissertation focused on Culturally Relevant Pedagogy. She was simultaneously working with an International School network based on the Diaspora. All of these experiences connected her with individuals in West Africa, East Africa, South African and the Caribbean. Each of the individuals on her journey made up a reason for founding Diaspora Travel.
The power of collective impact when individuals are able to come together was evident to London. As a way to unlock collective power, individuals must know one another and know one another’s culture. Diaspora Travels provides the vehicle for individuals to get to know one another, know one another cultures, have shared travel experiences and collaborate. Diaspora Travels also ensures that the story of the African Diaspora is told through the voicing of its African sons and daughters.

We believe in the power of the collective and as such aim to connect individuals across the African Diaspora through travel experience. It is our aim that these become lifelong connections that move the overall Diaspora forward.
Culture:
We believe your culture is a core part of who you are and embrace the tenets for Culturally Relevant Pedagogy. As such, we ensure all of our trips are infused with authentic cultural experiences of the County you choose to travel to. We equally invite you to bring your full cultures into the trips
Collaboration:
We believe in the power of partnering. As we create your travel experiences we will actively collaborate with you and our partners to create your dream experience. It is our aim that these travel experiences allow you to learn, grow, develop relationships and enjoy all the Diaspora has to offer
Knowledge Sharing:
We believe that Africans should be telling the story of Africa. Our travel experiences aim to lift up the voices of local individuals. Travel experiences are constructed to allow for deep learning about the Diaspora on each of your travel experiences.
